What an incredibly chilled out place! The management (Julia and Julie) make your stay a very relaxed one. I worked (and played) from here for 3 days. It’s a perfect getaway for those who want to be left alone or entertained. Nothing was too much trouble. I was even dropped off at the station on my return to Barcelona. Thanks so much. If you want to unwind, there’s really nothing better than a rural getaway, and Mas Baget is one of those rare, magical places where you can truly lose yourself. It´s just an hour & a half from Barcelona and is by far & away my favourite place to escape to at weekends.
The beautiful 18th-century stone farmhouse sits on a hill, with views stretching across the valleys down to the coast & Tarragona. It sleeps up to 30 people and has a fully-equipped kitchen & large dining rooms for self-catering. Mas Baget also has a lovely garden with ample grounds and a big, well-kept outdoor swimming pool.
Julie & Julia are the perfect hostesses and run a relaxed & easygoing home – I highly recommend a visit at any time of the year really. There is plenty to do in the area & it’s the perfect base for taking day trips to local villages or visiting the towns of Reus or Tarragona.
