Mas Baget has seen its fair share of unique and joyful events over the past year, each one bringing new energy and unforgettable memories to our Catalan country home. From elegant weddings to mystery filled weekends, there’s never a dull moment around here.

In just the last twelve months, we’ve hosted four wedding celebrations, including one full-blown wedding with vows exchanged beneath the Mediterranean pine trees and dinner under the stars. Each couple brought their own style, from laidback rustic charm to something more polished and formal. Mas Baget seems to adapt beautifully, offering the right mix of nature, history, and warmth for these special moments.

Then there was Julie’s 60th birthday, which we celebrated Peaky Blinders-style with a murder mystery weekend. Guests arrived in full costume, accents were attempted, and someone may or may not have met their fictional end with a candlestick in the garden. It was playful, theatrical and full of laughter …. just the kind of celebration we love.

We also host a monthly Shamanic retreat in our large studio space, with participants travelling from across the region to connect more deeply with themselves and the land. The energy during those weekends is calm and focused, offering a beautiful balance to the other livelier events.

Recently, a local foraging group used our space to cook a meal made entirely from wild ingredients collected from the surrounding forests. It was simple, thoughtful and delicious, a reminder of how much the land here gives us.
